Yifeng Winter Melon Tea Introduction
Founded in the first year of the Republic of China, this is the only remaining traditional winter melon candy shop in Tainan. The process of brewing winter melon tea does not involve any preservatives or chemical additives, resulting in a rich flavor and a strong winter melon aroma. Mr. Lin's sons were initially reluctant to take over, and Mr. Lin thought this was a declining industry. However, his youngest son, Lin Ke-Chuan, returned to manage the beverage shop. Mr. Lin was worried that the family business would end with him, but unexpectedly, the business grew and developed in new ways. Yi Feng Winter Melon Factory has branches across Taiwan, all managed by the descendants of the Lin family. Yi Feng's winter melon tea has a unique caramel aroma and is still made by hand, thus the production is limited. Customers wishing to purchase winter melon extract should make a reservation in advance to avoid missing out.
