Yifeng Winter Melon Tea Introduction
Founded in the first year of the Republic of China, this is the last remaining traditional winter melon candy shop in Tainan. The process of brewing winter melon tea does not add any preservatives or chemical additives, resulting in a rich flavor and a strong winter melon aroma. Mr. Lin's sons were initially reluctant to take over, and Mr. Lin felt that this was already a declining industry. However, his younger son, Lin Kechuan, returned to operate a beverage shop. Mr. Lin Songshan was originally worried that the family business would end with him, but unexpectedly, the family legacy found new development. Yifeng Winter Melon Factory has branches all over Taiwan, all run by the descendants of the Lin family. Yifeng's winter melon tea has a unique caramel aroma and is still handmade today, resulting in limited production. Those wishing to purchase winter melon syrup must make a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment.
