The first-generation resident of the Xinying paper factory, having learned Cantonese cuisine from a young age, was hired as a chef at a guesthouse. At that time, President Yen Chia-kan, General He Yingqin, and Tainan County Magistrate Liu Bo-wen often designated Mr. Deng to be the chef.
