The first generation settled in the Xinying Paper Factory, where the chef learned Cantonese cuisine from a young age. He was hired as the chef of a guesthouse, where President Yan Jiagan, General He Yingqin, and Tainan County Governor Liu Bowen often requested Mr. Deng to cook. Later, he changed to selling breakfast, retaining the strong flavors of mainland cuisine in his dishes, insisting on generous portions, chewy noodles, and authenticity. Now passed down to the second generation, the quality is still highly regarded.
