Baodaxiang Sunflower Seeds Introduction

Insisting on Sun-Drying and the Flavor of Sunshine: Once, the banks of the Zengwen River were the largest seed-producing area in Taiwan, and Madou is the main manufacturing and wholesale center. Baodaxiang is the original shop for licorice soy sauce melon seeds. The family has been making seeds for three generations, still adhering to the traditional sun-drying method, allowing the seeds to have the aroma of sunshine after being sun-dried. First, the seeds are soaked for a whole day and occasionally stirred like a spa treatment. The next morning, the seeds are given a warm bath, mixed with licorice and soy sauce, and heated to cook. After cooking, they are sun-dried again, and finally, coconut oil is mixed in to give the seeds a finishing touch. The entire production process takes one to two days. Low Sugar and Low Salt, Emphasizing Ingredients: Although melon seeds can be made with salad oil and machine drying, this type tends to have an oily smell, making them "bitey." Baodaxiang insists on spa treatments, sun-drying, low sugar, and low salt, using higher-cost soy sauce and coconut oil.
