90 Sweets Introduction
The first specialty canelé store in Chiayi, founded in 2020 by a dessert-loving young man from the '90s, chose the canelé, famously known as the "Angel's Bell," as its theme. Although located in a quieter area on Guangcai Street in Chiayi City, it invested in hiring a famous design company, Xiao Fuqi, to create an elegant atmosphere with blue hues and dark wooden accents, complemented by dreamy white curtains, reflecting a French retro vibe. If you happen to walk down this street, you'll be amazed that Chiayi has a dessert shop dedicated solely to canelés. Stepping inside, you can feel the warmth and sweet aroma of baking. As a canelé specialty store, Jiuling Dessert also offers a variety of flavors such as matcha, coffee, apricot, cocoa, Earl Grey, milk tea, and Thai milk tea, along with their original canelé. Occasionally, they release limited editions, such as Mini canelés, which are more complex to make but perfect for a single bite. They also launch assorted flavor gift boxes during various holidays. Due to the pandemic, Jiuling Dessert currently operates with one pastry chef and does not offer dine-in services; it's best to place an order in advance for your favorite canelé flavor.
