"Fei Fei is my cat, and in order to commemorate the time she has accompanied me, I named the restaurant after her," speaks Huang Kai-Jie, the owner and pastry chef of this restaurant, with a tone filled with nostalgia. After working in the manufacturing industry for 12 years, he transitioned to the baking industry out of interest. "I really love food," he says shyly. Fueled by this passion, he learned to bake, took baking classes, and established his own brand, "Fei Fei Cookie," selling handmade cookies and desserts online, as well as offering customized wedding cakes. The original intention of creating the brand was to insist on no additives in his baking, aiming to touch hearts with pure deliciousness and stimulate taste buds with the simplest ingredients. Even after opening the small restaurant, this initial intention continues to thrive, all to allow more customers to feel the simple yet sincere meaning behind it. "The chocolate chip cookies and snowflake cookies are the most recommended products. Although the ingredients used are top-notch, the prices are very affordable," Huang Kai-Jie passionately discusses his signature cookies. "Because simplicity, deliciousness, and affordability are the most important elements in the store," he adds, adhering to the three main principles of the small restaurant, envisioning a sense of value for customers, while hoping to balance quality ingredients with price.
