The owner, Aque, immersed himself in the world of coffee during his studies. He was not only a member of the National Chiayi University Coffee Club but also served as the second president. After graduation, he embarked on a "217-day street vending" journey, accumulating a reputation and funds for opening his own shop. He found the current location on Guangcai Street and officially opened under the name "Xiaokoupin." The glass window reads, "Though the seats are few, the coffee is excellent," which is straightforward and resonates with many. Aque speaks very little, but his tone is firm and sincere. He says that the philosophy behind opening this shop is to convey the idea of "Taste the life." Many of the hand-drawn designs and decorations inside the store come from the hostess, Guangguang, who has a therapeutic charm in her speech. The two complement each other's personalities perfectly and work seamlessly together. The coffee scene in Chiayi is thriving, and although Aque is low-key, his coffee skills are well recognized, attracting a loyal group of customers who followed him since his street vending days, many of whom visit Xiaokoupin almost daily as part of their routine.
