The owner, A-Que, immersed himself in the world of coffee during his studies. Not only was he a member of the National Chiayi University Coffee Society, but he also served as the second president. After graduation, he embarked on a "217-day market stall journey" to gather reputation and funds for opening his shop. Eventually, he found the current location on Guangcai Street and officially opened under the name "Xiaokoupin." The glass window reads, "Although the seating is limited, the coffee is excellent," a simple yet heartfelt message. A-Que speaks little, but his tone is firm and sincere. He shares that the philosophy behind opening this shop is to convey the message, "Taste the life." Many of the hand-drawn designs and decor ideas in the shop come from his partner, Guangguang, who has a soothing charm in her speech. Their complementary personalities and division of labor create a strong synergy. Chiayi is home to many hidden coffee gems, and although A-Que is low-key, his coffee skills are widely praised, attracting a loyal group of customers who have followed him since his market stall days, some of whom visit Xiaokoupin almost daily as part of their daily ritual.
