The Taste of My Hometown Forty years ago, a retired veteran missed the flavors of his hometown and began to cook dishes that evoke memories of his native cuisine, soothing his nostalgia. After tasting his creations, he decided to open a restaurant, serving authentic Chinese dishes that capture everyone's palate—this is the "Mainland Restaurant" located next to Wufeng Temple in Zhongpu Township. The restaurant has been in operation for over forty years and is now run by the second-generation owner, Yang Songtao. Mr. Yang has inherited his father's skills and improved upon them, bringing a variety of Chinese cuisine that differs from traditional Taiwanese flavors.
