Taste of Hometown Memories Forty years ago, a retired soldier reminiscing about the flavors of his hometown began to create dishes that reminded him of home, soothing his longing for his roots. After enjoying his creations himself, he opened a restaurant that serves authentic Chinese cuisine, captivating everyone's palate—this is the "Mainland Dining Restaurant" located next to Wufeng Temple in Zhongpu Township. The restaurant has been in operation for over forty years and is currently managed by the second-generation owner, Yang Song-Tao, who has inherited and improved upon his father's culinary skills, bringing forth a variety of Chinese dishes that differ from the typical Taiwanese flavors.
