You can hardly imagine that the inception of a restaurant began with the enthusiastic efforts of locals, and the formation of a concept that could provide more employment opportunities for families. After the New Port Cultural and Educational Foundation completed the unique Railway Park in 2001, it took on an impossible task in 2004 by collaborating with the township office to lease the old railway station master's dormitory. This led to the thorough revitalization of the dilapidated building, resulting in a restaurant that combines nostalgic charm with diverse operations, named "New Port Living Room." It is the first casual dining restaurant in New Port, and its significance is to provide a warm and comfortable dining space for family and friends visiting from afar.
