Hsiulong Tea Factory Introduction
Hsu Lung Tea Factory is the only tea factory in the Alishan area that maintains traditional tea cakes. The owner, Lin Bing-hui, left his urban life in the construction industry to establish Hsu Lung Tea Factory in 1987 for the sake of his elderly parents. Hsu Lung Tea insists on brewing every cup of good tea, using unique methods and handcrafted processes to produce tea cakes that have become a signature product of Hsu Lung. It is also a must-visit place for domestic and foreign tourists to experience tea cakes. With over thirty years of tea business experience, the owner offers indigenous tea varieties and passes down traditional flavors to tea lovers. The handmade tea cakes allow visitors to understand traditional tea rolling techniques, while the Xi Yun Tea series offers reservations for handcrafted tea cakes, which are wrapped in calligraphy, becoming more aromatic as they age. The tea types include Oolong tea, Jin Xuan tea, and indigenous tea, and guided tours are available for guests to learn how to differentiate tea types. The interior and exterior walls of the tea factory are adorned with rich murals, perfect for taking photos and telling stories.
