Xulong Tea Factory is the only traditional团茶 (round tea) factory in the Alishan area. The owner, Lin Bing-Hui, gave up his urban life in the construction industry for the sake of his elderly parents and established the "Xulong Tea Factory" in 1987. Xulong Tea insists on creating the best tea with unique methods and handcrafted团茶, making it a signature product of Xulong and a must-visit destination for domestic and international tourists to experience团茶. With over thirty years of experience in the tea industry, the owner cultivates native tea varieties, passing on the flavors cherished by tea lovers from our ancestors. The团茶 production process showcases traditional hand-rolling techniques, and the Xi Yun Tea series requires reservations for making团茶, wrapped in calligraphy, with depth of flavor increasing over time. Tea varieties include Oolong tea, Jin Xuan tea, and Shih tea, and guided tours are available to help guests learn how to differentiate between different types of tea. The exterior and interior walls of the tea factory are adorned with rich murals, perfect for photography and storytelling.
