Xu Long Tea Factory is the only tea factory in the Alishan area that preserves the traditional round tea. The owner, Lin Binghui, gave up his city life in the construction industry for the sake of his aging parents and founded "Xu Long Tea Factory" in 1987. Xu Long Tea Factory is committed to making every cup of good tea through unique methods and hand-rolled round tea, making round tea a signature product of Xu Long, and a must-visit place for tourists from both domestic and international destinations to experience round tea. With over thirty years of experience, the owner offers original cultivar tea, allowing tea lovers to understand the flavors of their ancestors, and the hand-rolled round tea helps everyone learn about traditional tea rolling techniques. The Xi Yun tea series is available for pre-booking of hand-rolled round tea, wrapped in calligraphy, which ages and becomes more aromatic over time. The tea varieties include oolong tea, Jin Xuan tea, and original cultivar tea, with guided tours available for guests to learn how to distinguish different tea types. The inside and outside walls of the tea factory are adorned with rich murals, perfect for taking photos and telling stories.
