The owner, Lin Ping-Hui, abandoned his urban life in the construction industry to care for his elderly parents, founding “Hsi Lung Tea Factory” in 1987. Hsi Lung Tea is committed to brewing every cup of tea with care, using a unique method to handcraft tea cakes, making them a signature product of Hsi Lung and a must-visit for domestic and international tourists wanting to experience tea cakes. With over thirty years of experience in the tea industry, the owner offers indigenous tea and aims to help tea lovers understand the flavors of their ancestors, showcasing the traditional hand-rolling technique of tea cakes. The Xi Yun tea series allows reservations for handcrafted tea cakes, wrapped in calligraphy, becoming more aromatic with age. The tea varieties include Oolong tea, Jin Xuan tea, and indigenous tea, with guided tours available to help visitors learn how to distinguish tea types.
