Taiwan Highway 11 Studio Introduction
Tai11 Studio is located within the main building of the Dulan Sugar Factory. Under the tall smokestack, "Tai11" is a studio co-managed by artist Gao Minshu and her husband Brian (Lao Bu), who is a brewmaster. All of the artistic creations in the shop come from Minshu's hands: paintings, clothing, accessories, installations, and more. In addition to appreciating art at Tai11, visitors can also enjoy locally made, original handcrafted beers and meads. The studio retains the original interior furnishings of the factory area, using only simple partitions and various styles of sculptures, creations, and decorations to create a cohesive studio atmosphere. The owner, Minshu's creations are filled with exotic and natural themes, demonstrating her passion for art and life. As part of the 2015 East Coast Land Art Festival, the studio is currently one of the open art studios on the East Coast, showcasing the special exhibition "Waves; We Are Together," revealing the unique, free-spirited creative atmosphere of the East Coast.
