Taiwan Highway 11 Studio Introduction
Tai11 Studio is located within the main building of the Dulan Sugar Factory. Under the tall chimney, "Tai11" is jointly operated by artist Kao Min-Shu and her husband Brian (Laobu), who is a brewer. All the artistic creations in the studio come from Min-Shu's hands: paintings, clothing, accessories, installations, and more. At Tai11, in addition to appreciating art, visitors can also taste "local" and "original" handcrafted craft beer and mead. The studio retains the original interior fixtures of the factory complex, using simple partitions along with sculptures, creations, and decorations of different styles to create the overall atmosphere. The studio owner's creations, Min-Shu's work, are filled with exotic and natural flair, showcasing her passion for creation and life. In conjunction with the 2015 East Coast Land Art Festival, the studio is one of the open art studios along the East Coast and is currently exhibiting the special show "Waves; We Are Together," which fully reveals the unique and free-spirited creative atmosphere of the East Coast.
