Taiwan Highway 11 Studio Introduction
Tai 11 Studio is located inside the main building of the Dulan Sugar Factory. Under the big chimney, "Tai 11" is co-managed by artist Kao Min-Shu and her husband Brian (also known as Lao Bu), who is a brewer. All the artworks in the store are created by Min-Shu's own hands: painting, clothing, accessories, installations, and more. At Tai 11, in addition to appreciating art, visitors can also taste locally produced and original handcrafted craft beer and mead. The studio preserves the original interior decor of the factory area, using simple partitions along with sculptures, creations, and decorations of various styles to create an overall atmosphere. The owner's creations are filled with exotic and natural charm, showcasing a passion for creativity and life through her works. As part of the 2015 East Coast Land Art Festival, the studio is currently one of the open art studios on the East Coast, featuring the special exhibition "Waves; We Are Together," which fully expresses the unique and free-spirited creative atmosphere of the East Coast.
