Taiwan Route 11 Studio Introduction
Tai 11 Studio is located in the main building of the Dulan Sugar Factory. Under the big smokestack, "Tai 11" is a studio co-managed by artist Gao Min-shu and her husband Brian (Lao Bu), a brewer. All artistic creations in the store are crafted by Min-shu's hands: paintings, clothing, accessories, installations, and more. At Tai 11, in addition to appreciating art, visitors can also taste locally sourced, original handcrafted beers and meads. The studio retains the original interior decor of the factory area, with simple partitions and sculptures, creations, and decorations of different styles that create an overall atmosphere. The owner of the studio, Min-shu, infuses exotic and natural elements into her creations, showcasing a passion for both art and life. As part of the 2015 East Coast Land Art Festival, the studio is currently one of the open art studios on the East Coast, featuring the special exhibition "Waves; We Are Together," which fully reveals the unique and unrestrained creative atmosphere of the East Coast.
