Dulan Introduction
Dulan is the largest village in the southern part of the East Coast, standing beside Dulan Mountain in eastern Taiwan, which has long been revered by the indigenous tribe as a "sacred mountain." It is not only a spiritual symbol of folklore, art, and culture but also a great place for tourists to enjoy the delights of the mountains and forests! Recently, the Amis tribal community has been dedicated to promoting its culture, making their songs and dances more exquisite, and their handicrafts innovative and refined. The fresh and healthy cuisine of the Amis is also definitely worth a try. The Dulan area not only features the county-designated site "Dulan Ruins," the coastal intertidal zone, and rich Amis ecological characteristics, but also the "Water Rising Phenomenon," the filming location for the movie "Under the Moonlight I Remember" - "Moonlight Pavilion," the beautiful bay "Jiamuzi Bay," the brown sugar cultural and art museum "Xindong Sugar Factory," along with great mountains (Dulan Sacred Mountain) and clear waters (Pacific Ocean), providing visitors with a journey filled with fun and wonder! The Eastern Region Office has built several pavilions along Provincial Highway 11, allowing tourists to admire the beauty of Dulan Bay from different angles. In the summer nights, visitors can enjoy the stunning views of Dulan Bay under the starry sky!
