Dulan Introduction
Dulan is the largest village in the southern part of the Eastern Coast, with the towering Dulan Mountain in eastern Taiwan, which has always been revered as a "sacred mountain" by the local tribes. It is not only a spiritual symbol of folk customs, arts, and culture, but also a great place for tourists to enjoy the wild beauty of the mountains and forests! Recently, the Amis tribe has been committed to promoting community culture, enhancing their songs and dances, innovating and refining their handicrafts, and offering fresh and healthy Amis-style cuisine that is worth trying. The Dulan area not only boasts the county-designated archaeological site "Dulan Site," coastal intertidal zones, and rich ecological features characteristic of the Amis tribe, but also attractions like the "Water Flows Up Wonder," the filming location of the movie "Moonlight Under the Stars" - "Moonlight Pavilion," the beautiful bay "Jiamuzi Bay," the brown sugar cultural art museum "Xindong Sugar Factory," and appealing sites like the sacred mountain (Dulan Mountain) and good water (Pacific Ocean), providing visitors with a fun and surprising journey! The Eastern District Office has built several pavilions along Provincial Highway 11, allowing tourists to enjoy the beauty of Dulan Bay from different perspectives. During midsummer nights, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Dulan Bay under a star-filled sky!
