Dulan Introduction
Dulan is the largest village in the southern part of the East Coast, with Dulan Mountain towering over eastern Taiwan. It has long been regarded as a "sacred mountain" by the tribal community, symbolizing the spirit of folk, art, and culture, while also being a great place for visitors to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and forests! Recently, the Amis tribe has been dedicated to promoting community culture, resulting in more refined singing and dancing, as well as innovative and exquisite handicrafts, along with fresh and healthy Amis cuisine that is definitely worth trying. The Dulan area not only features the county-designated site "Dulan Site," coastal intertidal zones, and unique Amis tribal ecology, but also attractions such as the "upward flowing water spectacle," the filming location of the movie "Under the Moonlight, I Remember" - "Moonlight Hostel," the beautiful bay "Jiamuzi Bay," the brown sugar cultural art museum "Xindong Sugar Factory," as well as scenic spots like the good mountain (Dulan Sacred Mountain) and good water (Pacific Ocean), providing visitors with a fun and surprising journey! The Eastern Coastal National Scenic Area Administration has built several pavilions along Provincial Highway 11, allowing tourists to admire the beauty of Dulan Bay from different angles. In the midsummer night, visitors can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Dulan Bay under a sky full of stars!
