Dulan Introduction
Dulan is the largest tribe in the southern section of the East Coast, with Dulan Mountain standing tall in eastern Taiwan. It has always been revered by the tribal community as a "sacred mountain," symbolizing the spirit of folklore, art, and culture. It is also a great place for visitors to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and forests! Recently, the Amis tribe has been dedicated to promoting community culture, enhancing the performances of songs and dances, and innovating exquisite handicrafts. The fresh and healthy Amis cuisine is definitely worth trying. The Dulan area not only boasts the county-designated site "Dulan Site," coastal intertidal zones, and unique ecology characteristic of the Amis tribe but also features wonders like the "Water Flows Up" spectacle, the filming location of the movie "I Remember Under the Moonlight" - "Moonlight Pavilion," the beautiful bay "Jiamuzi Bay," the "New Dong Sugar Factory" focused on brown sugar culture and arts, along with attractions like the majestic Dulan Mountain and the Pacific Ocean. The Eastern District Office has built several pavilions along Highway 11, allowing visitors to admire the beauty of Dulan Bay from different perspectives. During summer nights, tourists can enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Dulan Bay under a starry sky!
