Cuitun Tribal Village Introduction

According to surveys, the intertidal zone and reef fish in the Sugihara Sea have over a hundred species, including families such as Gerreidae and Kyphosidae, along with many shellfish and crustaceans, making it one of the areas with high biodiversity. It also has one of the highest coral coverage rates in Taiwan and boasts the largest algal reef in the eastern region. If you visit in the summer, be sure not to miss the chance to roll up your pants and walk barefoot along the fine sandy beach, chasing the waves or experiencing the fun of building sandcastles. Visitors planning to explore should ideally book a guided tour in advance to systematically learn about the intertidal zone and the various names and habits of underwater creatures. The Cuotong Tribe is the earliest Amis tribe to hold the Harvest Festival along the entire coastline. Friends wishing to experience the Harvest Festival here should pay attention to the tribe's announcements in early July to avoid missing out.
