From Amateur to Artisan The owner of "Sun Moon Star Dance B&B," after retiring, took an interest in growing a few plots of Arabica coffee on their own farm for personal enjoyment. They named it "Leisure Coffee Place," and unexpectedly, beautiful red gems sprouted in the fields. Currently, the B&B is managed by the younger second generation, and their homemade coffee has won accolades including the "First Place Special Award" at the 2015 Sun Moon Lake Specialty Coffee Evaluation Competition and "Third Place" in the 2015 Taiwan Coffee Roasting Competition.
