HOHOCHA Tea | Taiwan Fragrant Sun Moon Lake Black Tea Factory Introduction
Hohocha Tea House, located about 5 kilometers from Sun Moon Lake on Taiwan's Route 21, is a Japanese-style building crafted from deep wood tones, nestled amidst lush green mountains, subtly blending with the fragrant aroma of tea that draws in passing travelers. The first floor of the theme pavilion features a "tourist tea factory" that combines the production line with visitor pathways, not only making the production process transparent but also providing explanatory plaques for each machine, detailing the eight essential tea-making procedures. This allows visitors to learn more about the factory, which has received ISO 22000 production certification and a five-star rating from the Agricultural and Food Agency. Adjacent to this area, the hand-shaken black tea and fragrant black tea eggs are a delightful treat for travelers. Continuing up the path to the second floor, visitors will find a "product sales area" mainly focused on light meals and souvenirs. Inside, you can overlook the tea-making process from a transparent skylight, while outside, you can savor the rich flavor of Italian gelato and enjoy the experience of being surrounded by mountains—truly romantic. Additionally, there’s an "exclusive developed black tea dough pizza," and you can sign up for a DIY pizza-making class to experience the joy of crafting your own pizza! The third floor is entirely dedicated to a "tea tasting experience area" designed with solid wood tables and round glass lamps to create a Zen atmosphere. In this warm-toned space, guests can drink tea, knead tea, blend tea, seal tea, and serve tea, further immersing themselves in Taiwanese tea culture...
