HOHOCHA Tea | Taiwan Fragrant Sun Moon Lake Black Tea Factory Introduction
Hohocha, located about 5 kilometers from Sun Moon Lake on Taiwan National Highway 21, is a Japanese-style building crafted from deep wood tones, subtly nestled in the lush mountains. The aroma of tea wafts through the air, inviting passing travelers to stop. The first floor of the themed pavilion features a "tea factory" that integrates the production line with visitor paths, allowing transparency in the production process. Each machine is equipped with explanatory signs that detail the eight major steps of tea production, helping visitors understand more about the tea factory certified by ISO22000 and the five-star certification from the Council of Agriculture's Agricultural and Food Agency. The nearby hand-shaken black tea and popular tea egg fill the air with delightful scents, satisfying the cravings of tourists. As visitors continue to the second floor, they find a "product sales area" focused on light snacks and souvenirs. Inside, a transparent skylight offers a view of the tea-making process, while outside, guests can enjoy the fragrant Italian ice cream and the picturesque surroundings of the mountains, creating a romantic atmosphere. Exclusive "black tea pizza with homemade crust" is available, and visitors can sign up for DIY pizza-making classes to experience the joy of crafting their own pizza! The entire third floor is a "tea tasting experience area" designed with solid wood tables, chairs, and circular glass lamps, embodying a Zen lifestyle where guests can enjoy tea, knead, blend, seal, and serve tea, further experiencing Taiwan's tea culture.
