Sun Moon Lake Bicycle Path - South Section Introduction
Tan Nan Village belongs to the Bunun tribe's Kasha group and is named "Tan Nan" because it's located to the southwest of Sun Moon Lake. From Sun Moon Lake, head south along Taiwan Route 21 to the edge of Zhuoshui River, then follow Taiwan Route 16 upstream along Zhuoshui River, and take County Route 97 north, passing through the foothills of Shuishe Mountain to reach Tan Nan Village before returning to Sun Moon Lake. This is a cycling route that is both close to nature and poses climbing challenges, making it suitable for cyclists who regularly train and enjoy self-challenges.
