Sun Moon Lake Bicycle Path - South Bank Segment Introduction
Tan Nan Village belongs to the Bunun ethnic group of the Kase tribe. It is named "Tan Nan" because it is located to the southwest of Sun Moon Lake. From Sun Moon Lake, take Provincial Highway 21 south to the banks of the Zhuoshui River, then follow Provincial Highway 16 upstream along the river, and continue on County Road 97 north through the foothills of Shueshe Mountain to return to the lakeside of Sun Moon Lake. This is a bicycle route that is both close to nature and offers climbing challenges. It is suitable for cyclists who regularly train and enjoy challenging themselves.
