Sun Moon Lake Cycling Path - Tan Nan Section Introduction
Tan Nan Village belongs to the Bunun ethnic group, specifically the Kasa tribe. It is named "Tan Nan" because of its location on the southwest side of Sun Moon Lake. From Sun Moon Lake, you can head south along Taiwan Route 21 until you reach the edge of the Zhuoshui River, then follow Taiwan Route 16 upstream along the Zhuoshui River and continue north on Route 97, passing through the foothills of Shuishe Mountain and arriving back at Tan Nan Village near Sun Moon Lake. This route is not only close to nature but also offers the challenge of uphill cycling, making it suitable for cyclists who regularly train and enjoy pushing their limits.
