Sun Moon Lake Bicycle Path - South Section Introduction
Tan Nan Village belongs to the Bunun tribe's Kashe group, and it is named "Tan Nan" because it is located southwest of Sun Moon Lake. Starting from Sun Moon Lake, you can head south along Taiwan Highway 21 to the banks of Zhuoshui River, then follow Taiwan Highway 16 upstream along the river and take County Road 97 north, passing by the foothills of Shueishan Mountain and returning to the edge of Sun Moon Lake. This is a bicycle route that is close to nature and presents a climbing challenge. It is suitable for cyclists who regularly train and enjoy pushing their limits.
