Sun Moon Lake Bicycle Path - South Section Introduction

Tan Nan Village belongs to the Bunun tribe of the Kasha community. It is named "Tan Nan" because of its location to the southwest of Sun Moon Lake. From Sun Moon Lake, follow National Route 21 south to the banks of the Zao River, then take Provincial Highway 16 upstream along the Zao River, and continue north via County Highway 97, passing through the foothills of Shuishe Mountain to reach Tan Nan Village before returning to the shores of Sun Moon Lake. This is a bicycle route that is close to nature and offers a climbing challenge. It is suitable for cyclists who regularly train and enjoy challenging themselves.
