Starting from the Shihwei Trailhead and going upwards, hikers will pass by six Buddhist temples: Wanfo Temple, Lingxia Cave, Jingang Temple, Jueren Tower, Haihui Temple, and Yuanguang Temple. This is the most common route taken by general tourists. Continuing down from Wangyue Pavilion towards Quanhua Hall, one will have entered Miaoli County from Hsinchu County.
