Jian Family Handmade Brown Sugar Introduction
In the Tea Mountain village, there is a winter-exclusive handmade candy. In the early days when access to Tea Mountain was difficult, the locals began a self-sufficient agricultural lifestyle due to the challenges of acquiring resources in the mountainous area. They planted sugarcane in the spring and harvested it in winter to produce sugar, using traditional methods to make brown sugar. This process is enhanced by adding home-grown ginger to create ginger candy. The purely handmade natural product is hard to resist, and every winter, people rush to place orders just to taste the limited edition handmade candy. The peak season for making the candy is from December to January. If you visit Tea Mountain, you can also experience the making of handmade brown sugar at the Jian family workshop, where you can observe the candy-making process and enjoy the sweet aroma in the air!
