Jianjia Handmade Brown Sugar Introduction
In the Chashan Village, there is a winter-exclusive handmade candy. In the early days when roads could not reach Chashan, the local people lived in the mountains where obtaining supplies was difficult, prompting a self-sufficient agricultural lifestyle. During spring, they plant sugarcane and harvest it in winter to make brown sugar using traditional methods. They also incorporate home-grown ginger to produce ginger candy. This purely handmade, natural product is irresistible, and every winter, people rush to place orders to taste this limited edition handmade candy. The candy-making season is from December to January. If you visit Chashan, you can also experience the production process of handmade brown sugar at the Jian family workshop, where the sweet aroma of the candy fills the air!
