Meet the Rainbow Ecological Village (formerly Yu Lan Firefly Conservation Area) Introduction
Rainbow Ecological Village is located in the Ruili Scenic Area of Chiayi, at an altitude of about 1,000 meters on the mountain, in the central part of the Greater Ali Mountain Scenic Area, offering a unique environment away from the hustle and bustle. Ruili has fresh air and pure spring water, and is rich in natural landscapes and forest resources, making it a great place for relaxation, training, health care, and leisure vacations. Rainbow Ecological Village has long advocated for ecological conservation, with rich biodiversity within the park. It particularly focuses on firefly restoration, and from March to June each year, a large number of fireflies appear in the area, making it the highest density firefly viewing location in the country and a renowned spot for firefly watching in Taiwan.
