Rainbow Ecological Village (formerly known as Rolan Firefly Conservation Area) Introduction
Meet Rainbow Ecovillage is located in the Ruiali Scenic Area of Chiayi, at an altitude of about 1,000 meters on a mountain, in the central part of the Greater Ali Mountain Scenic Area, providing a unique environment away from the hustle and bustle. Ruiali boasts fresh air and pure spring water, with abundant natural landscapes and forest resources, making it an excellent place for relaxation, conferences, health maintenance, and leisure vacations. Meet Rainbow Ecovillage has long advocated for ecological conservation, with rich biodiversity within the park. It is especially committed to firefly rehabilitation, and from March to June each year, a large number of fireflies can be seen in the area, achieving the highest density in the province and making it a well-known firefly viewing destination in Taiwan.
