Hsiangshan Amu Cultural and Creative Center Introduction
"Fragrant Hills Mother Cultural and Creative Center" is located in the Chao Shan Village of Hsinchu's Xiangshan District. Founded by artist Wang Qi-Lang in 2010, it focuses on the local elements of Xiangshan in Taiwan to promote local culture and art. The center is a multifaceted cultural space that combines art exhibitions, the sale of creative products, specialty coffee (Xinshan beans), aquatic pets, sculpture art experiences, DIY activities, and local cultural tours. The Xinshan Bean Café inside offers lacto-vegetarian dishes, including hand-brewed coffee, light meals (hot-pressed/thick toast), special mother-style mixed noodles, and homemade desserts, all generously portioned and made with quality ingredients, allowing visitors to enjoy delicious food while appreciating art that incorporates local elements of Xiangshan. The image of "Fragrant Hills Mother" symbolizes the hardworking mothers and abundant produce of the Xiangshan area. The cultural and creative center conveys the life philosophy of "truth, goodness, beauty, and new" through art and utilizes its geographical location (near Xiangshan Railway Station, wetlands, etc.) to become an ideal place for exploring the unique charm and cultural art of Xiangshan.
