Thai Flavor Introduction
Affordable and delicious Thai cuisine reflects the essential core of any culture, which undoubtedly includes "food." To understand a culture, cuisine is often the best entry point, as different cultural backgrounds create diverse flavors and cooking methods, imprinting the texture of culture on our taste buds. A bowl of seemingly light yet intricate coconut-flavored dry rice noodles comes to the table with a delightful aroma of coconut, perfectly complemented by crispy fish sticks. The crispy texture pairs wonderfully with the smooth rice noodles! Each table is thoughtfully provided with Thai sauces; for those who enjoy salty flavors, a touch of Thai soy sauce (commonly known as fish sauce) or the shop's homemade Sichuan pepper sauce, which is fragrant and slightly spicy, can be added for an appetite-boosting experience. This hidden gem, #Taste of Thailand, has been in business for over 15 years, initially located in the area commonly referred to as Bicycle Street before moving to the alley behind the mayonnaise shop. The owner is a Chinese Thai expatriate, and the restaurant has undergone numerous taste improvements through her son, who once served as a chef in a Thai restaurant, ultimately making it suitable for Taiwanese palates. It is now operated by her daughter, continuing the legacy of this delicious cuisine. Friends who enjoy Thai snacks are highly recommended to visit and taste it.
