Over half a century, from a novice to a well-known pastry expert in Taiwan, we have always held on to our initial intention: "to make those who care for us feel honored." Yu Chen Hsin's pastries do not have any secret recipes; they are simply made with a heart that cares for customers and a commitment to quality ingredients. To meet the needs of devotees and locals who adhere to a vegetarian diet visiting the Dajia Mazu Temple, Yu Chen Hsin replaced the traditional lard pastry with a recipe using natural butter, which not only led to the creation of the now-famous "butter pastry," but also earned Yu Chen Hsin the title of the hometown of butter pastries.
