Lu-Liao-Keng Section Mu Xiang Gu Farm Introduction
The farm is located in Xianglin Township, Hsinchu County, and primarily produces organic log-grown mushrooms without contamination. The ecology within the farm is rich, with dozens of mushroom species. Because it is organically and uncontaminated cultivated, numerous creatures such as frogs, gobies, and fireflies can also be found in abundance. About 30 meters into the farm stands a giant tree known as the "Jiu Ding Yong Sacred Tree," under which is a local spiritual site for residents—the Fude Temple. The farm operates diversely, combining ecological parent-child activities and DIY experiences to allow visitors to enjoy a rich and layered travel experience. Moreover, during the season in May when the tung flower blooms abundantly, visitors to the Luliao Keng log-grown mushroom farm can not only experience the joy of mushroom picking but also appreciate the beautiful sea of flowers. Specializing in the production of uncontaminated organic log-grown mushrooms, it serves as an outdoor classroom for mushroom research and observation for National Taiwan University. Using logs as the medium for cultivating mushrooms, the log-grown mushrooms from Luliao Keng are thick, succulent, and sweet, with no pesticide residue, making it safe for visitors to indulge in. The Luliao Keng log-grown mushroom farm is committed to preserving the original, rich mushroom flavor by adhering to the traditional "log cultivation method," and in turn combines agricultural transformation with nearby fruit farmers to create a multifunctional rural lifestyle that includes leisure, education, therapeutic food, parent-child DIY, and agricultural experiences, achieving an enjoyable and educational environment.
