Luliao Pit Mu Xiang Mushroom Farm Introduction
The farm is located in Xianglin Township, Hsinchu County, and primarily produces organic log-grown shiitake mushrooms that are free from contamination. The ecosystem within the farm is rich, featuring dozens of mushroom species. Due to the organic and unpolluted cultivation methods, various creatures such as frogs, shrimp, and fireflies are abundant in the area. About 30 meters into the farm, there is a giant tree known as the "Jiu Ding Banyan Tree," under which lies a spiritual site for local residents—the Fude Temple. The farm operates diversely, combining ecological family-friendly agricultural experiences and DIY activities, allowing visitors to enjoy a rich and layered travel experience. Additionally, during the month of May when the油桐花 trees are in full bloom, visitors to the Luliao Keng log-grown shiitake mushroom farm can enjoy the fun of mushroom picking while also appreciating the beautiful flower fields. Specializing in the production of pollution-free organic log-grown shiitake mushrooms, this farm serves as an outdoor classroom for mushroom research and observation for National Taiwan University. Using logs as the medium for cultivating shiitake mushrooms, the Luliao Keng mushrooms are thick, plump, and juicy, completely free from pesticide residues, allowing visitors to indulge without worry. The Luliao Keng log-grown shiitake mushroom farm is dedicated to preserving the original rich mushroom flavor by adhering to traditional "log cultivation methods." It integrates agricultural transformation with nearby fruit farmers to create a multifunctional rural lifestyle that includes leisure, education, therapeutic eating, parenting DIY activities, and agricultural experiences, achieving an enjoyable educational environment.
