Luliao Keng Segment Wood Mushroom Farm Introduction
The farm is located in Xianglin Township, Hsinchu County and primarily produces uncontaminated organic log-grown mushrooms. The ecosystem within the farm is rich, hosting dozens of mushroom species. Due to its organic and uncontaminated cultivation methods, a wide variety of wildlife such as frogs, shrimp, and fireflies thrive abundantly in the farm environment. About 30 meters into the farm, there is a giant tree called the "Jiuding Banyan," under which lies a local spiritual site—the Fude Temple. The farm adopts a diversified management approach, integrating ecological experiences for families and DIY activities, allowing visitors to enjoy a rich and layered travel experience. Additionally, during the blooming season of the Tung tree in May, visitors to the Luliao Keng log-grown mushroom farm can not only experience the joy of mushroom picking but also admire the beautiful sea of flowers. Specializing in producing uncontaminated organic log-grown mushrooms, it serves as an outdoor classroom for mushroom research and observation by National Taiwan University. By using logs as the medium for growing mushrooms, the log-grown mushrooms from Luliao Keng are thick, tender, and juicy, completely free from pesticide residues, allowing visitors to indulge without worry. The Luliao Keng log-grown mushroom farm is dedicated to preserving the rich natural mushroom flavors and insists on using traditional "log cultivation methods" for professional cultivation, while also integrating with surrounding fruit farmers to create a multifunctional rural life experience, including leisure activities, educational workshops, food therapy, parent-child DIY activities, and agricultural experiences, achieving a perfect blend of education and entertainment.
