Luliao Keng Section Mushroom Farm Introduction
The farm is located in Xianglin Township, Hsinchu County, and primarily produces organic wood mushrooms without pollution. The ecology of the farm is rich, with dozens of types of fungi. Since it is organically and pollution-free cultivated, various creatures such as frogs, mudskippers, and fireflies abound. Walking about 30 meters into the farm, there is a giant tree known as the "Jiu Ding Fig Tree," beneath which lies a local spiritual site—the Fude Temple. The farm adopts a diversified management approach, combining ecological experiences for families and DIY activities, allowing visitors to enjoy a rich and layered travel experience. In May, when the Tung flowers are in full bloom, visiting the Luk Liao Valley wood mushroom farm offers not only the joy of mushroom picking but also a chance to appreciate the beautiful sea of flowers. Specializing in the production of pollution-free organic wood mushrooms, it serves as an outdoor classroom for mushroom research and observation for National Taiwan University. Using logs as the cultivation medium, the mushrooms from Luk Liao Valley are thick, succulent, sweet, and juicy, completely free of pesticide residues, allowing visitors to indulge without concerns. Luk Liao Valley wood mushroom farm is dedicated to preserving the original rich flavor of mushrooms by insisting on traditional "log cultivation methods." This is further integrated with agricultural transformation, working with nearby fruit farmers to create a multi-functional rural lifestyle that includes leisure activities, educational experiences, therapeutic cuisine, parenting DIY, and agricultural experiences, making it a great place for educational entertainment.
