Houjian Mountain is one of the Four Beauties of Sun Moon Lake, with an elevation of 1,008 meters. The entrance is next to the Toushe Buddha Hall, and the elevation gain is approximately 345 meters. The route is about 1.2 kilometers long and takes about 1 hour one way. At the summit, there are rest pavilions and picnic tables, offering a panoramic view of Sun Moon Lake, which is very picturesque.
