Hou Jian Mountain is one of the Four Beauties of Sun Moon Lake, with an elevation of 1,008 meters. The entrance is located next to the Toushe Buddha Hall, and the elevation gain is approximately 345 meters. The total trail length is about 1.2 kilometers, taking around 1 hour one way. At the summit, there are resting pavilions and picnic tables, and from the top, you can enjoy a distant view of the Sun Moon Lake scenery, which is exceptionally beautiful.
