Dragon and Phoenix Waterfall Introduction
Longfeng Waterfall is located in Qingshui Village, Zhongliao Township. Originally named "Cihsiung Waterfall," the waterfall is divided into two segments, one majestic and powerful with rushing water, and the other gentle and delicate with a fine stream. During his tenure as Provincial Chairman, former Vice President Hsieh Tung-min admired the striking scenery and praised the waterfall's magnificent atmosphere. He noted its balance of strength and softness, leading him to rename it "Longfeng Waterfall." The waterfall is situated at the end of a winding trail and bridge, where the swift water plunges into a pool, producing a sound akin to thunder. The waterfall's descending column of water brings a refreshing coolness, making one feel as if they are being bathed in nature.
