Dragon and Phoenix Waterfall Introduction
Longfeng Waterfall is located in Qing Shui Village, Zhongliao Township. Originally named “Ci Xiong Waterfall,” the waterfall is divided into two tiers, with one side showcasing a majestic flow and the other side presenting a gentle, delicate stream. During his tenure as Provincial Chairman, former Vice President Hsieh Tung-min admired the area's beautiful scenery and praised the waterfall's grandeur, noting its powerful and gentle flows harmoniously together, thus naming it "Longfeng Waterfall." The waterfall is at the end of a winding path and bridge, where the rapid flow crashes into the pool below, producing a sound reminiscent of thunder. Standing on one side, one feels as if they are being baptized by nature. The journey to the waterfall is shaded by a canopy of trees, with the refreshing scent of forest phytoncides and the continuous sound of flowing water, reviving weary spirits. The Longfeng Waterfall area is rich in lush forest and fresh streams, making it a perfect place to enjoy both the mountains and water. Visiting this hidden gem in Zhongliao with family and friends is absolutely worth the trip, allowing everyone to explore and appreciate its beauty.
