Longfeng Waterfall Introduction
The Longfeng Waterfall is located in Qing Shui Village, Zhongliao Township, and was originally named "Cihong Waterfall." The waterfall splits into two segments on the left and right, with one stream flowing powerfully and magnificently, while the other flows gently and delicately. During his tenure as Provincial Governor, former Vice President Hsieh Tung-min admired its beautiful scenery and praised the waterfall's grandeur, noting the contrast of strength and softness, and thus it was named "Longfeng Waterfall." The waterfall is situated at the end of a winding trail and bridge, where the swift water pours into a pool below, producing a thunderous sound. Standing on one side, one can feel as though they are being cleansed by nature. The journey to the waterfall is shaded by thick trees, and the fragrant forest air and the continuous flow of water invigorate tired spirits. The Longfeng Waterfall area offers lush mountains and refreshing streams. It is a delightful place to visit, where you can enjoy both the mountains and water, making it absolutely worthwhile to explore this hidden gem in Zhongliao with friends and family.
