Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk, Zhongliao Township Introduction
Zhongliao Township's Longfeng Waterfall, consisting of Long Waterfall and Feng Waterfall, has become a unique local attraction. Long Waterfall has a stronger flow and a magnificent presence, while Feng Waterfall gently trickles down, appearing softer. The proximity of the two waterfalls creates a variety of scenic features, making it a visual highlight for tourists. Above Long Waterfall, there is a Sky Corridor that allows visitors to enjoy a different perspective of the magnificent waterfalls. Walking on the transparent walkway feels like strolling in the air, providing an exhilarating experience. Zhongliao Township is home to the longest sky corridor in the country, the Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk, modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the United States. This transparent, U-shaped walkway spans over 30 meters, extends 13 meters above the waterfall, and is approximately 40 to 50 meters off the ground. The structure is anchored and secured by ground anchors and piles. It is the longest sky corridor in the country, allowing visitors to overlook the stunning waterfalls while walking on a transparent path, enjoying the thrilling sensation of walking in the sky. To ensure the safety of the sky walkway, a reservation system will be implemented, limiting the number of visitors each day to avoid long waiting times. In the future, a pathway connecting to Xiaonan Group will also be designed, enabling visitors to experience both attractions in one trip.
