Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk, Zhongliao Township Introduction
Zhongliao Township's Longfeng Waterfalls, consisting of Long Waterfall and Phoenix Waterfall, have become unique local attractions. Long Waterfall has a more powerful flow and a magnificent presence, while Phoenix Waterfall features gentle streams that appear soft and delicate. The two waterfalls are adjacent to each other, creating a diverse scenic spot. Above Long Waterfall, the Sky Corridor has been established, allowing visitors to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the waterfalls from a high vantage point. Walking on the transparent pathway feels like strolling in the air, which is quite thrilling. Zhongliao Township is home to the longest sky corridor in the country, the Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk, modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the United States. This transparent, non-suspension "U"-shaped walkway is over 30 meters long, protruding 13 meters over the waterfall and standing about 40 to 50 meters above the ground. It is secured using ground anchors and piles, making it the longest sky corridor in the nation. It allows visitors to have a bird's-eye view of the waterfalls while walking on the transparent path, enjoying the exhilarating experience of seemingly walking in the sky. To ensure the safety of the sky walk, a reservation system will be implemented, limiting the number of visitors each day to reduce waiting times. In the future, there are plans to design a trail connecting to the Xiao Nan group of attractions, enabling visitors to explore both sites during their visit.
