Longfeng Waterfall Skywalk, Zhongliao Township Introduction
Zhongliao Township's Longfeng Waterfall, consisting of "Long Waterfall" and "Feng Waterfall," has become a unique local attraction. Long Waterfall features a strong water flow with a magnificent appearance, while Feng Waterfall has a gentle and soft stream. The proximity of the two waterfalls creates a distinctive and scenic spot for tourism. Above the Long Waterfall area, there is the Sky Corridor. Visitors can enjoy a different view of the beautiful waterfalls from a high vantage point, walking on a transparent pathway that feels like strolling in the air, which is quite thrilling and exciting. Zhongliao Township also boasts the longest aerial corridor in the country, the Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk, modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the United States. This transparent "U"-shaped walkway, over 30 meters long, extends 13 meters above the waterfall and is about 40 to 50 meters off the ground. The engineering uses ground anchors and stakes for stability, making it the longest aerial corridor in the country. It allows visitors to appreciate the stunning beauty of the waterfalls from above while enjoying the thrilling experience of walking on a transparent pathway. To ensure the safety of the aerial walkway, a reservation system will be implemented, limiting the number of visitors each day to minimize wait times. In the future, pathways connecting to the Xiaonan group will also be designed, enabling visitors to enjoy both attractions.
