Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk, Zhongliao Township Introduction
Zhongliao Township's Longfeng Waterfall, consisting of "Dragon Waterfall" and "Phoenix Waterfall," has become a unique local attraction. The Dragon Waterfall boasts a powerful flow and majestic scenery, while the Phoenix Waterfall streams gently, presenting a softer appearance. These two adjacent waterfalls create a strikingly diverse scenic spot. Above the Dragon Waterfall area, a sky corridor has been established. Visitors can appreciate the beauty of the waterfalls from a higher vantage point, walking on a transparent pathway that feels like a walk in the sky, providing an exhilarating experience. Zhongliao Township is home to the longest sky corridor in the country, the "Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk," modeled after the Skywalk at the Grand Canyon in the United States. This U-shaped pathway is transparent and does not have a hanging system, measuring over 30 meters in length and extending 13 meters above the waterfall, approximately 40 to 50 meters above the ground. The structure is secured using ground anchors and foundation piles, making it the longest sky corridor in the nation. It allows visitors to admire the beauty of the waterfalls from a high perspective and enjoy the thrill of walking on a transparent path. To ensure safety, the sky walk will operate on a reservation system, limiting the number of visitors each day to minimize wait times. Future designs will also connect to trails leading to Xiaonan Group, allowing visitors to explore both attractions.
