Zhongliao Township Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk Introduction
The Longfeng Waterfalls in Zhongliao Township, consisting of the "Long Waterfall" and the "Phoenix Waterfall," have become unique local attractions. The Long Waterfall boasts a stronger flow and impressive scenery, while the Phoenix Waterfall features gentle streams that appear soft and delicate. These two waterfalls are adjacent to each other, creating a diverse and picturesque tourist spot. Above the Long Waterfall area is the sky corridor. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the spectacular waterfalls from a height, walking on a transparent pathway that makes one feel as if they are strolling in the sky, offering quite an exhilarating experience. Zhongliao Township is home to the country's longest sky corridor, the "Longfeng Waterfall Sky Path." Modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the United States, this transparent, U-shaped walkway stretches over 30 meters, extending 13 meters above the waterfall and approximately 40 to 50 meters above ground. The structure is secured using ground anchors and piles, making it the longest sky corridor in the nation, allowing visitors to enjoy the beauty of the waterfalls from a high vantage point while experiencing the thrill of walking on a transparent path that feels like walking in the air. To ensure safety, the sky path will operate on a reservation system, limiting the number of visitors each day to minimize waiting times. In the future, a path connecting to the Xiaonan Group will also be designed, allowing visitors to explore both attractions in one trip.
