Zhongliao Township Longfeng Waterfall Skywalk Introduction
The Longfeng Waterfall in Zhongliao Township, consisting of "Dragon Waterfall" and "Phoenix Waterfall," has become a unique local attraction. The Dragon Waterfall boasts a powerful flow and grand atmosphere, while the Phoenix Waterfall features gentle trickling water, creating a harmonious contrast. These two adjacent waterfalls form a spectacular scenic spot. Above the Dragon Waterfall area, a sky corridor has been established, allowing visitors to enjoy a breathtaking view of the waterfalls from a high vantage point. Walking on the transparent walkway feels like strolling in the air, providing an exhilarating experience. Zhongliao Township is home to the country's longest sky corridor, the "Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk," modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the United States. This U-shaped walkway, measuring over 30 meters long and extending 13 meters out over the waterfall, is about 40 to 50 meters above the ground and is secured using ground anchors and piles. As the longest sky corridor in the country, it offers visitors an unparalleled view of the waterfalls while they walk on the transparent path, enjoying the thrill of being suspended in the air. To ensure safety, the sky corridor will operate on a reservation system, limiting the number of visitors each day to reduce wait times. Future plans include designing a trail connecting to the Xiaonan group, allowing visitors to enjoy both attractions together.
