Zhongliao Township Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk Introduction
Zhongliao Township's Longfeng Waterfall features the "Dragon Waterfall" and "Phoenix Waterfall," which have become unique local attractions. The Dragon Waterfall has a stronger cascade and impressive dynamics, while the Phoenix Waterfall flows gently, appearing softer. These two waterfalls are adjacent, creating a spectacular scenic spot with diverse characteristics. Above the Dragon Waterfall area, a sky corridor has been established. Visitors can enjoy the beauty of the waterfalls from above and walk on a transparent pathway, which feels like walking in the air, offering a thrilling experience. Zhongliao Township boasts the longest sky corridor in the country, the "Longfeng Waterfall Sky Walk," modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk in the United States. This U-shaped walkway, which is transparent and has no suspension system, is over 30 meters long, extends 13 meters over the waterfall, and is approximately 40-50 meters above the ground. It is anchored and secured using ground stakes, making it the longest sky corridor in the country, allowing visitors to enjoy the stunning view of the waterfalls and experience the thrill of walking on a transparent walkway as if floating in the air. To ensure the safety of the sky walk, a reservation system will be implemented, limiting the number of visitors each day to avoid long wait times. Future plans include designing trails that connect to the Xiaonan group, allowing visitors to enjoy both attractions together.
