Lin Family Deer Farm Introduction
Guoxing Township is an agricultural township and a Hakka indigenous area in Nantou County, with most residents being Hakka and primarily engaged in agriculture for their livelihoods, followed by animal husbandry. Nan-gang Village is particularly famous for its farming of Formosan sika deer, which is the hometown of Taiwan's Formosan sika deer. The village has about 100 families mainly focused on deer farming. The history of raising Formosan sika deer here is quite long, and during the peak season for antler harvesting, the process of collecting and preserving the antlers attracts crowds of onlookers.
