Lin Family Deer Park Introduction
Guoxing Township is an agricultural township and a Hakka indigenous area in Nantou County, primarily populated by Hakka residents, most of whom engage in farming for a living, followed by animal husbandry. Nangang Village is particularly famous for raising Formosan sika deer, being the hometown of this species in Taiwan. The village has about 100 households that primarily focus on deer farming, and the history of breeding Formosan sika deer here is quite long. During the peak season for antler harvesting, the process of collecting and preserving the antlers attracts many visitors.
