Lin Family Deer Farm Introduction
Guoxing Township is an agricultural township and a Hakka indigenous area in Nantou County, where most residents are of Hakka descent and primarily earn their living through farming. Livestock farming is the second major occupation. Nangang Village is particularly famous for raising Formosan sika deer, being the hometown of these deer. The village has about 100 families primarily engaged in deer farming, and the history of raising Formosan sika deer here is quite long. During the peak season for harvesting deer antlers, the process of collecting and preserving the antlers attracts many visitors.
