Dapeng Bay Coastal Highway Introduction
With a simple backpack, get on a bicycle and start a personal bike journey around Taiwan. The Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area offers a bike path around the bay that integrates five major features: "lagoon landscapes," "fishing village culture," "community humanities," "natural scenery," and "sunset over the seawall." This path is superior to the "urban bike path" systems in other major cities and has greater tourism value. The circular bike path is approximately 16.4 kilometers long, and it takes about 2 hours to complete a round trip, passing through various segments including Harbor Boulevard, Jialiang Community, Fishing Village Scenery, Sunset Seawall, Mangrove Forest, and Wetland. On weekends and holidays, dress in light gear, ride your bike into Dapeng Bay, and embark on an intellectual journey to the mangroves and the expansive fish ponds, gazing at the entire Dawu Mountain Range, and enjoy the sunset from the seawall, living life to the fullest.
