Round-the-Island Bicycle Path Introduction
With a simple backpack, hop on a bike and embark on a personal cycling trip around the island. The Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area offers a coastal cycling path that integrates five major features: "lagoon landscapes," "fishing village charm," "community culture," "natural scenery," and "sea dyke sunset." This is superior to the urban cycling path systems found in other major cities and has greater tourism value. The coastal cycling path is approximately 16.4 kilometers long, taking about 2 hours to ride around. Along the way, you'll pass through areas such as Gangwan Avenue, Jialien Community, fishing village scenery, sunset sea dyke, mangrove forest, and wetland sections. On weekends, don your light gear, cycle into Dapeng Bay, and start an intellectual journey towards the mangrove wetlands and the vast fish ponds, gazing at the entire Dawu Mountain Range, and hopping up on the sea dyke to enjoy the sunset—a truly leisurely experience.
