Fuwan Wellness Leisure Farm (Fuwan Manor) Introduction
Fuwan Manor is the first leisure farm in Pingtung County to successfully change the land use for specific purposes. With a deep affection for its hometown, Fuwan Manor was built using ecological methods to showcase the charm of Donggang in a unique way. The farm features traditional earthen houses that play a role in cultural and artistic heritage. These houses are constructed using a fixed ratio of yellow earth, brown sugar, rice husks, and seaweed, meticulously processed through a three-stage process of grinding, fermentation, and shaping over six months to create earthen bricks. The exterior walls are coated with a protective layer made of a mixture of slaked lime and tung oil. Art exhibitions are held regularly in the earthen houses, allowing friends of the manor to experience different interpretations of life through the artists' works while enjoying a unique and delightful spiritual feast during their vacation.
