Fuwan Health and Leisure Farm (Fuwan Manor) Introduction
Fuwan Manor is the first leisure farm in Pingtung County to successfully change the land use designation for specific purposes. With a deep affection for their homeland, Fuwan Manor has been created using ecological construction methods, showcasing the unique charm of Donggang in a different way. The farm features traditional earthen houses that play a role in cultural and artistic heritage. These houses are constructed using a fixed ratio of yellow clay, brown sugar, rice husks, and seaweed, which are kneaded, fermented, and shaped over a course of six months to create earthen bricks. The exterior walls are then coated with a protective layer made of a mixture of white lime and tung oil. The earthen houses periodically host art exhibitions, allowing friends of the manor to experience the artists' diverse interpretations of life while enjoying a unique and beautiful spiritual feast during their vacation.
