Shimen Ancient Battlefield Introduction
The Shimen Ancient Battlefield is located at the boundary between Checheng Township and Mudan Township. It is an important strategic point, standing between Shimu Mountain at an elevation of 370 meters and Wuzhong Creek Mountain at 450 meters. Walking along the trail on the steep rock walls, facing the mountain winds and the blazing sun, requires extra caution. Upon reaching the summit, a monument inscribed with "Clearing the Sea and Restoring Our Mountains" stands before you, commemorating the brave deeds of the fallen from that tumultuous time. Reading the inscription on the stone deeply evokes memories of the fierce battle that took place, stirring a profound sense of sorrow.
