Fuyuan Trail Introduction
The Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area Trail is located in Fuyuan Village, Ruisui Township, Hualien County. It features the largest camphor tree forest in Taiwan. The area has multiple trails, with the main trail stretching 6,807 meters. Notable trails include the Riverside Trail and the Mountain Loop Trail, varying in length and difficulty, interconnected to form a trail network. Along the way, visitors can see attractions such as Longyin Waterfall, Longyin Suspension Bridge, giant rocks, and bat caves, as well as over 30 species of butterflies and more than 40 species of birds. It is suitable for visitors year-round, offering an enriching experience for vacationing, hiking, and ecological observation.
