Fuyuan Trail Introduction
The Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area Trail is located in Fuyuan Village, Ruisui Township, Hualien County. It features the largest camphor forest in Taiwan, with various trails, the main trail totaling 6,807 meters. Notable trails include the Streamside Trail and the Mountain Loop Trail, offering varying lengths and difficulty levels, interconnected to form a network of paths. Along the way, visitors can view attractions such as Longyin Waterfall, Longyin Suspension Bridge, giant rocks, and bat caves, as well as over 30 species of butterflies and more than 40 species of birds. It is suitable for visitors year-round, providing an intellectual and emotional experience whether for vacation, hiking, or ecological observation.
