Fuyuan Trail Introduction
The Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area Trail is located in Fuyuan Village, Ruisui Township, Hualien County. It features the largest camphor tree forest in Taiwan and has multiple trails, with the main trail measuring 6,807 meters in length. Notable trails include the Huanshui Trail and the Huanshan Trail, which vary in length and difficulty, connecting to form a network of paths. Along the way, visitors can find attractions such as Longyin Waterfall, Longyin Suspension Bridge, gigantic boulders, and Bat Cave, as well as more than 30 species of butterflies and over 40 species of birds. It is suitable for visitors year-round, offering both intellectual and emotional experiences whether for vacation, hiking, or ecological observation.
