Fuyuan Trail Introduction
Fuyuan National Forest Recreation Area Trail is located in Fuyuan Village, Ruisui Township, Hualien County. The area features the largest camphor tree forest in Taiwan, with numerous trails, the main trail totaling 6,807 meters. Notable trails include the Huanshui Trail and the Huanshan Trail, which vary in length and difficulty, connecting to form a network of trails. Along the way, visitors can see scenic spots such as Longyin Waterfall, Longyin Suspension Bridge, giant boulders, and Bat Cave, as well as over 30 species of butterflies and more than 40 species of birds. It is suitable for visitors year-round, providing a blend of intellectual and emotional experiences whether for vacation, hiking, or ecological observation.
