Fuxing Forest Railway Introduction
Fuxing Community is the largest source of土鳳梨 (Taiwanese pineapple) in Taiwan. From July to September, during the pineapple harvest season, the fields in Fuxing are filled with plump and juicy pineapples. Visitors can take the light rail through the expansive pineapple fields, passing through forests along the Happiness Trail to reach the end point for photos, or ride the tractor-drawn train while listening to local residents share stories about Fuxing Community. Tourists can also visit filming locations like Room No. 1 from "Where Are We Going, Dad?" and finally savor the sweet and tangy 土鳳梨 and golden diamond pineapple, enjoying the fresh taste of freshly harvested fruit. The 1314-meter-long Happiness Trail is a popular spot for couples and families to take photos. Riding the Fuxing Forest Train, visitors can listen to the driver introduce the man-made forest ecology and different varieties of pineapple. The train stops at 520 meters to allow passengers to rest, get off, and take a look at the beautiful Dream Lake, creating lovely memories. Before leaving, don’t forget to take home some fresh and delicious pineapples or local agricultural products!
