Fuxing Forest Railway Introduction
Fuxing Community is the largest area for sugar pineapple cultivation in Taiwan. From July to September, during the pineapple harvest season, the fields of Fuxing are filled with plump, juicy pineapples. Visitors can take the light rail train through the endless pineapple fields, passing through forests along the Happy Trail to reach the end point for photo opportunities. Alternatively, they can ride on a tractor-pulled cart and listen to local residents share stories about Fuxing Community, visit filming locations like Room No. 1 from "Where Are We Going, Dad?", and finally savor the sweet and tangy taste of freshly picked sugar pineapples and Golden Diamond pineapples. The Happy Trail, which is 1,314 meters long, is a perfect spot for couples and families to take photos. Riding the Fuxing Forest Train, visitors can hear the driver introduce the artificial forest ecology and different pineapple varieties. The train stops at 520 meters to allow guests to rest, walk around, and enjoy the beautiful Dream Lake, creating wonderful memories. Before leaving, don't forget to take home some fresh and delicious pineapples or local agricultural products!
