Xingquan Canal Wind Chimes Tree Introduction
Every time the season of the Tabebuia aurea flowers arrives, there is a frenzy for flower chasing across various locations, and the Hsingchuan Canal, located at the intersection of Guangfu and Ruisui, is a popular spot for admiring these flowers. The nearly 300-meter-long flower path is adorned with golden blossoms in March, contrasting beautifully with the distant green mountains. The shimmering reflections of the golden flowers in the gentle flowing canal resemble a stunning oil painting, making it a new hotspot for Instagram and Facebook check-ins. Hsingchuan Canal, originating from the Fuyuan Butterfly Valley, was constructed during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty and has a lengthy history of over a century. Later, Taiwan Sugar Corporation took over and planted Tabebuia trees along both sides of the canal. During the blooming season in March, this area transforms into a long golden river, with the blooming yellow flowers reflecting in the adjacent rice paddies, attracting many visitors to enjoy the flowers and immerse themselves in this beautiful scenery. Important reminder: As this attraction is near a school, please refrain from parking your vehicles indiscreetly or parking near the school (such as Fuyuan Junior High School), and help maintain smooth traffic! Since the area around the canal consists of farmlands and jungles, flower viewers need to walk on the dikes, and one may slip if not careful. It is recommended to wear non-slip shoes or waterproof shoes that you do not mind getting dirty; you can clean them after viewing the flowers. Additionally, be cautious not to fall into the canal, and please keep the environment clean by not littering.
