Xingquan Canal Flower Trees Introduction
Every time the flowering season of Tabebuia aurea arrives, a flower-chasing frenzy occurs everywhere, and the Xingquan Irrigation Canal, located at the border of Guangfu and Rueisuei, is a popular spot for admiring the Tabebuia aurea. The nearly 300-meter-long flower path of Tabebuia aurea blooms with golden flowers in March, contrasting beautifully with the distant green mountains. The shimmering reflections on the flowing water of the canal create a picturesque scene that looks like an oil painting, making it a trending spot on Instagram and Facebook. The Xingquan Irrigation Canal, originating from the Fuyuan Butterfly Valley, was constructed during the Guangxu era of the Qing Dynasty and has a century-long history. It was later taken over by Taisugar, which planted Tabebuia aurea along both sides of the canal. Every March, when the flowers bloom, it forms a long golden riverway, and the blooming yellow flowers reflect in the adjacent rice paddies, attracting many tourists to enjoy the flowers and immerse themselves in the beautiful scenery. Important reminder: As this spot is near a school, please do not park vehicles haphazardly or near schools (such as Fuyuan Junior High School), and help maintain smooth traffic! Since the area around the canal is surrounded by farmland and forests, be cautious while walking on the field ridges to avoid slipping. It is recommended to wear non-slip or waterproof shoes that you don't mind getting dirty, so you can easily wash them after flower appreciation. In addition to being careful not to fall into the canal, please do not litter and help keep the environment clean.
