Wulao Gorge Introduction
Located upstream of the Qishan River (Nanzi River) in Kaohsiung City - the Nanxi tributary, Qishan River (Nanzi River) is the first river in Taiwan to achieve successful conservation. The canyon features steep vertical cliffs, and the valley is filled with giant rocks, deep pools, waterfalls, and other gorge formations, making it extraordinarily grand and beautiful, reminiscent of the vertical cliff scenery at Yanzikou on the Central Cross-Island Highway. In addition to the breathtaking landscapes of peculiar mountains and lush green trees along the way, the true joy lies in escaping the hustle and bustle and engaging in self-reflection.
