Wengweng Grand Canyon Introduction
Located upstream of the Qishan River (Nanzihsiankeng River) in Qishan District, Kaohsiung City, the Qishan River (Nanzihsiankeng River) is the first river in Taiwan to be successfully conserved. The cliffs surrounding the canyon rise steeply, and the valley is filled with boulders, deep pools, and waterfalls, showcasing a magnificent and beautiful canyon landscape reminiscent of the vertical cliffs at Yanzikou in Central Cross-Island Highway. In addition to the stunning scenery of unique mountains and lush greenery along the way, the true pleasure lies in distancing oneself from the hustle and bustle to engage in self-reflection.
