Bisha Fishing Port Introduction
The "Badouzi Fishing Port" is a fishing port that combines a traditional fishery center with tourism, leisure, and seafood restaurants. At the entrance of the port, a retired deep-sea fishing vessel, the "Hai Gong," is displayed. After eighteen years of service, the Hai Gong was retired in 1993 and is now docked at the entrance of the fishing port for visitors to explore. Its massive hull stands prominently by the roadside and has become an important landmark of Badouzi Fishing Port. The fishing port features ample parking space for small cars and buses, while the direct sales center within the port allows fishermen to sell freshly caught fish, shrimp, crabs, and other seafood directly to tourists, provided at lower prices than typical fish markets. For visitors who cannot take their purchases home, there are restaurants in the area that offer immediate and convenient cooking services, allowing them to enjoy delicious meals on-site. Additionally, tourists can board the blue highway leisure fishing boats at Badouzi Fishing Port to visit the sea gem, Keelung Islet, and admire the stunning coastal scenery. Every year, various festive events take place at Badouzi Fishing Port, such as the annual Locking Tube Season, Dragon Boat Racing during the Dragon Boat Festival, the National Coastal Fishing Invitational Competition, and vibrant international sailing competitions.
