Let me introduce you to "Bai Nian You Fan," which has been around for over a hundred years. This year marks the second year of its popularity, with an additional ninety-eight years of heritage. The reason "Ji & Mei Shi Mi Yue You Fan" is so well-loved lies in its ingredients; in addition to Puli shiitake mushroom shreds, duck meat, ginger slices, and red-label rice wine, it uses pure, hundred-year-old black sesame oil, adding an aromatic flavor to the rice. The long glutinous rice is selected from high-quality older rice; the longer the glutinous rice is stored, the higher the cost, and the cooking process takes longer as well. However, the biggest feature is that the rice grains remain chewy and do not easily become soft.
