Friendly Trail Introduction
The Public Trail located between Fuao Harbor and Baima Zunwang Temple was completed in 2008. It is the first dedicated bike and pedestrian path in Matsu, stretching 800 meters long, primarily built along the coastline between Qing Shui Village and Fuao Harbor. Below the walkway lies an oil pipeline leading to the Zhu Mountain Power Plant, and this area is one of the favorite fishing spots for local anglers. On the Public Trail, you can not only jog or ride a bike while enjoying the cool and pleasant evening breeze of Matsu, but you can also observe the leisure activities that locals enjoy at night, which is fishing. With a fishing rod in hand, you can get close to nature, free from the noisy sounds of the metropolis, surrounded only by the sounds of chirping insects and croaking frogs—how carefree and joyful it is!
