Citizen Trail Introduction
The People-Friendly Trail, located between Fuao Harbor and the Bai Ma Zun Wang Temple, was completed in 2008. It is the first dedicated path in Matsu for bicycles and pedestrians, measuring 800 meters in length, primarily built along the coastline between Qing Shui Village and Fuao Harbor. Beneath the walkway runs the oil pipeline leading to the Zhu Mountain Power Plant, and this area is also one of the favorite fishing spots for local anglers. On the People-Friendly Trail, visitors can enjoy jogging or cycling while experiencing the cool and pleasant evening breeze of Matsu. They can also observe the leisure activities that locals enjoy at night, particularly fishing, with each person holding a fishing rod, closely engaging with nature amidst the absence of the noisy sounds of the metropolis, replaced only by the chirping of insects and the croaking of frogs, creating a wonderfully carefree atmosphere!
