People's Trail Introduction
The People-Friendly Trail, located between Fuao Harbor and Baima Zunwang Temple, was completed in 2008 and is the first dedicated path in Matsu for cycling and walking. Spanning 800 meters, it is mainly built along the coastline between Qing Shui Village and Fuao Harbor. Below the trail is the oil pipeline leading to the Zhu Shan Power Plant, and it is one of the favorite fishing spots for local anglers. On the People-Friendly Trail, you can jog or ride a bicycle while enjoying the cool and pleasant evening breeze of Matsu, and you can also witness the local people's favorite nighttime leisure activity, which is fishing. With a fishing rod in hand, you can get close to nature without the noisy sounds of the metropolis, just the chirping of insects and the croaking of frogs—how free and joyful!
