Neihu Mountain Trail Introduction
The entrance to Neihu Mountain Trail is located beside the old Taiwan Provincial Highway 21 in Zhongming Village, connecting with the Shuixiang and Zhongming Bicycle Paths. The trail is approximately 1,500 meters long, gently ascending along the creek valley, featuring slate steps and wooden boardwalks. Along the way, visitors will pass behind the Fleur de Chine Hotel, where there is a viewpoint overlooking Sun Moon Lake. The trail ends at the Lingxing Gate of Wenwu Temple. Along the route, one can see cypress and bamboo groves, as well as various plants such as pencil trees and Begonia palmata. The shaded trail is refreshing and pleasant, with the sounds of insects and birds creating a rich ecological environment, especially noted for its fireflies in late spring and early summer.
