Neihu Mountain Trail Introduction
The entrance to Neihu Mountain Trail is located beside the old Taiwan Route 21 in Zhongming Village, connecting to the Water Alley and Zhongming Bicycle Path. The trail is approximately 1,500 meters long, ascending gently along the creek valley. It features bluestone steps and wooden boardwalks, passing by the back of the Fleur de Chine Hotel, where visitors can enjoy a distant view of Sun Moon Lake from the observation deck. The trail ends at the Lingxing Gate of Wenwu Temple. Along the way, you can see cypress and bamboo groves, as well as various plants like Penstemon and Begonia grandis. The shaded trail is cool and pleasant, filled with the sounds of insects and birds, showcasing a rich ecology, particularly noted for the fireflies that appear in late spring and early summer.
