Neihu Mountain Trail Introduction
The entrance of the Neihu Mountain Trail is located next to the old Taiwan Highway 21 in Zhongming Village, connecting to the Water Alley and Zhongming Bikeway. The trail is approximately 1,500 meters long, gradually ascending along a stream valley. It features slate steps and wooden walkways, and passes behind the Yunpin Hotel, where you can enjoy a distant view of Sun Moon Lake from the viewing platform. The trail ends at the Lingxing Gate of the Wenwu Temple. Along the way, you can see cypress and bamboo groves, as well as various plants like Penstemon and Begonia grandis. The shaded environment is refreshing and pleasant, filled with the sounds of chirping insects and singing birds, making the ecosystem very rich, with fireflies particularly notable in late spring to early summer.
