Neihu Mountain Trail Introduction
The entrance to Neihu Mountain Trail is located next to the old Taiwan Provincial Highway 21 in Zhongming Village, connecting to the Shui Alley and Zhongming Bicycle Path. The trail is approximately 1,500 meters long, gradually ascending along the creek valley with stone slab steps and wooden boardwalks. It passes behind the Yunpin Hotel, where visitors can enjoy a distant view of Sun Moon Lake from the viewing platform. The trail ends at the Lingxing Gate of Wenwu Temple. Along the way, visitors can see cedar trees and bamboo forests, with plants such as pencil trees and Begonia grandis scattered throughout. The shade from the trees provides a cool and pleasant atmosphere, with the sounds of insects and birds creating a rich ecological environment, especially notable for fireflies in late spring and early summer.
