Liangshan Waterfall Introduction
Liangshan Waterfall is located along County Road 185 in Majiab Township, upstream of Donggang River at the confluence of Niujiaowan Creek. It consists of three tiers, with the first tier being the smallest in scale, characterized by gentle water flow and a pool formed at the base of the waterfall. Due to its accessibility, it attracts many visitors on weekends. The second and third tiers can be reached by climbing a mountain trail, which is quite challenging and suitable for stream appreciation and rock observation. In the early morning, numerous wild birds often inhabit the area. During the peak water flow period, the third tier of the waterfall is magnificent, with the rumbling sound of water audible from a distance. As one gets closer, the mist of the valley becomes palpable, and the impressive force of the waterfall is felt. It is recommended to stay for about 40 minutes, and for those with sufficient stamina, it is possible to reach the uppermost waterfall to experience the refreshing ambiance of the surrounding mountains and forests.
