Fude Waterwheel Park Introduction
The Fude Waterwheel Park is a must-visit spot along the North Coast and is the largest waterwheel park among the six waterwheel cultural landscape parks in San Zhi. Located on the southern side of the San Zhi bustling area, opposite the San Zhi Visitor Center, the park covers nearly 0.6 hectares. Its main attractions include a large wooden guided waterwheel, a wooden waterwheel in front of the Tutankhamun Temple, an ecological sedimentation pond, a scenic bridge, a wooden rest platform, an environmental walking trail, and various plants. The park combines three main themes: "tourism," "ecology," and "health," allowing visitors to enjoy the pure atmosphere of the mountains and forests while surrounded by lush greenery and vibrant life. Along the environmental walking trail, in addition to the large wooden guided waterwheel powered by an elevated aqueduct, there is also a sedimentation pond designed to maintain clean water sources. Visitors can appreciate a diverse range of waterwheel landscapes and the colorful plants that change with the seasons. Waterwheel landscapes scattered like artworks throughout San Zhi slowly rotate with the flow of water, telling the story of early agricultural development while adding a tranquil and intellectual atmosphere.
