The Xuwu Shuntian Temple is dedicated to Li Fu San Qian Sui, believed to be the younger brother of Tang Taizong, Li Shimin. He sacrificed himself for the country, became a deity, and roamed the seas. Invited by the water and lin (sweet potato) village mother, he was stationed to protect the lower village of Xuwu. Many local legends describe the miraculous deeds of Li Fu San Qian Sui and his brother deities in capturing ghosts and dealing with demons.

Xuwu Shuntian Temple Introduction

Li Fu San Qian Sui is worshipped at Xuwu Shuntian Temple, and is said to be the younger brother of Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin. He sacrificed his life for the country and became a deity, wandering the seas and was invited by the Mazu of Shuilin Fan Shu Liao to guard Xuwu Xiaozhuang.
