Beimen Bicycle Path Introduction
The North Gate Bicycle Path is a cycling trail rich in salt industry history and culture, with a total length of about 3 kilometers. Along the route, visitors can closely observe scenic salt lakes, bamboo salt fields, salt field relics, mangroves, salt marsh wetland ecology, and the North Gate Lagoon. Most sections of the bicycle path are paved with AC asphalt and equipped with safety guardrails, informational signs, and directional signage, ensuring a comfortable and safe riding experience for travelers. The path also features shaded pavilions, leisure seating, and bird-watching platforms, where one can pause at dusk to appreciate the beautiful sunset over the salt fields. In winter, there is a chance to observe thousands of Black-faced Spoonbills flying together. There are many popular attractions along the bicycle path, such as the North Gate Wedding Meidi, Crystal Church, and Qian Lai Ye Grocery Store, which offers bicycle rental services for visitors to enjoy the coastal views and sea breeze while cycling along the North Gate Bicycle Path.
