Beimen "A-Shan's Oyster Omelette" was established by A-Shan's daughter, Wu Li-Juan, and later flourished under A-Shan's guidance. Today, it is run by siblings Wu Sen-Nan and Wu Li-Juan. The cause for Wu Li-Juan's establishment of the stall was the closure of the highly regarded "A-Xi Auntie's Oyster Omelette" due to A-Xi Auntie's old age, which left the people of Beimen nostalgic. This prompted Wu Li-Juan to start her own oyster omelette stall. Initially, her stall was located at the pavilion outside the "A-Xuan Fish Soup Shop," selling daily. However, at that time, tourism in Beimen had yet to develop, and there were no tourists, leading to very poor business, which made her consider closing. Her mother, Wu Wang-Ming-Shan, noticed that there were more walk-in customers on weekends, so she took over the oyster omelette stall and moved it to the corner of Yonglong Temple, continuing to sell, but only on weekends. Due to the character "Shan" in Wu Wang-Ming-Shan's name, the villagers began calling her "A-Shan-Zai," and later someone referred to her as "A-Shan Master," which unexpectedly became her famous brand. After a difficult period, just then the Yunlin-Chiayi-Tainan National Scenic Area Administration established its office in Beimen, which vigorously promoted Beimen's tourism industry.
