Min-style Sesame Cake Introduction

Located in Kinmen's Jincheng Township, this restaurant specializes in Fujian-style baked pastries and has been in operation for over thirty years. Some say that a visit to Kinmen isn't complete without trying these pastries. Historically, baked pastries were a popular breakfast choice for the locals and a favorite among soldiers stationed in Kinmen. After returning to Taiwan, these pastries gradually became a popular souvenir. What makes these pastries so delicious is their flaky crust and soft filling. They come in two flavors: sweet and savory, both equally tasty. Each pastry is priced at twelve NT dollars (ten pieces per box), and they are sold from morning until around five or six in the afternoon, with fresh pastries coming out of the oven around 2:30 PM.
