Minnan-style Sesame Flatbread Introduction
Located in Jinsha Township, Kinmen, this Min-style sesame cake specialty shop has been operating for over thirty years. It is said that if you visit Kinmen and do not try the Min-style sesame cake, you have not truly been to Kinmen. The sesame cake was an early breakfast for Kinmen residents and is a favorite among soldiers, who would bring it back to Taiwan as a souvenir. The deliciousness of these sesame cakes lies in their crispy skin and soft filling. There are two flavors: sweet and savory, both equally tasty. Each savory and sweet sesame cake costs twelve NT dollars (ten pieces per box), and they are sold from morning until around five or six in the afternoon, with fresh cakes coming out around two-thirty in the afternoon.
