Min-style Sesame Cake Introduction

Located in Jinsha Township, Kinmen, this Min-style sesame bun specialty shop has been in operation for over thirty years. Some say that if you come to Kinmen and don't try the Min-style sesame buns, it's not considered a true visit. The sesame bun was an early breakfast for the locals and is a favorite among the Kinmen soldiers, who would bring them back to Taiwan after returning. It gradually became a popular souvenir to bring back to Taiwan. The deliciousness of these buns lies in their flaky crust and soft filling. There are two flavors: sweet and savory, both equally tasty. Each savory and sweet sesame bun costs twelve NT dollars (ten per box) and they are sold from morning until around five or six in the afternoon, with fresh buns available around two-thirty in the afternoon.
