Kinmen High School - Chung Cheng Hall Introduction
Zhongzheng Hall of Kinmen High School is located on a high ground between Ximen and Xiapu in Jincheng. It was established in October 1951, constructed by the then Captain Zhang Cailiang of the 20th Army Engineering Corps, with design by Company Leaders Liu Yunfeng, Chen Huaili, and Liao Guangyan, as well as drawings by Wang Yinglan and Xu Ganquan, commissioned by all officers and soldiers. The construction took only three months. At that time, General Hu Lian, the Commander of Kinmen, fostered the spirit of perseverance and hard work among the military and civilians of Kinmen, personally leading by example by transporting stones from two kilometers away in Shanjian Village to build the surrounding wall of Zhongzheng Hall, which became a well-known story.
