Houpou 16 Art and Culture Zone Introduction
The sixteen storefronts located next to the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall are public property of the Kinmen Chen Clan Association. With the support of the Chen Clan members, the buildings have been restored to preserve their original appearance and revitalized for use, inviting emerging cultural and creative shops to set up, thereby injecting cultural soft power into the Houpu Urban Area. Stepping into the Houpu 16 Cultural and Creative District, you will find unique shops, each developing impressive cultural and creative products, such as "Curly Lika," which transforms the visible floral tiles of Kinmen's Western-style buildings into practical life items through illustration and recoloring to introduce them to travelers from afar. Other notable shops include "Dream Tavern," "Plant Creation jGarden," and "Rosweet Studio," all worth a visit! The Houpu Town Floral Tile Lane has been jointly planned by the Kinmen Island Association and the Jincheng Township Office, executed by the Curly Lika Studio, using floral tile-shaped spray paint to beautify the alley with colorful floral patterns, turning abandoned and dilapidated brick walls into new tourist highlights!
