Houpuh 16 Cultural and Creative Park Introduction
Located next to the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, the sixteen storefronts are public properties of the Kinmen Chen Clan Association. With the support of the Chen Clan, these buildings have been preserved and revitalized, inviting emerging creative shops to set up, thus injecting cultural soft power into the Houpu area. Stepping into the Houpu 16 Arts and Culture Special Zone, each unique store has developed impressive creative products, such as "Curly Lika," which transforms the decorative tiles visible on Kinmen Western-style buildings into practical lifestyle items through drawing and recoloring, introducing them to travelers from afar. Other shops like "Dream Tavern," "Plant Creation jGarden," and "Rosweet Studio Craft Aesthetics Studio" are also worth a visit! The Houpu Town Tile Street project is jointly planned by the Kinmen Island Association and the Jincheng Township Office, executed by the Curly Lika studio, which uses colorful tile-shaped spray painting to decorate the alleyways, turning abandoned and dilapidated brick walls into new tourist highlights!
