Hsiung-Shih Fort is located on the right side of the Wujang River outlet, directly in front of the Fujian Provincial Government. This area was originally a ferry terminal known as "Tong'an Ferry," which connected the coastline to the high ridge outside the west gate of Jincheng (now the site of Kinmen Senior High School), and it was also a burial ground.
