Lion's Fort is located on the right side of the Wujian River outlet, right in front of the Fujian Provincial Government. This area was originally a ferry terminal for Haopu, historically known as "Tong'an Ferry." The coastal area nearby connects from the seaside to the high hill outside the West Gate of Jincheng (now the site of Kinmen High School), which is also a cemetery.
