Back then, there were not many Western dining options suitable for young people, so owner Ah Mao specifically went to Taipei to learn the craft and brought American-style pizza back to his hometown, resulting in immense popularity. It remains the best-selling pizza restaurant in Chiayi today. While adhering to American styles, it features innovative interpretations. The concept of Hands on Pizza is to combine Western cooking techniques with local ingredients from Chiayi or common foods in Taiwan, applying them to pizza. The exclusive Dongshi fresh oyster pizza uses plump, fresh oysters delivered directly from the source, paired with cucumbers and shredded ginger, and drizzled with fresh wasabi sauce from Alishan, providing a flavorful finish and adding depth to the seafood pizza.
