Hand in Pizza Introduction

Founded in Chiayi for 10 years, "Hand in Pizza" features a delicious fusion of local flavors with Dongshi fresh oyster pizza, born from the dream of a local young man passionate about his hometown. Back then, there weren’t many Western dining options suitable for young people, prompting the owner, A-Mao, to learn the craft in Taipei and bring American pizza back to his hometown, which turned out to be immensely popular. Today, it remains the best-selling pizza restaurant in Chiayi. Practicing American styles while incorporating innovative interpretations, Hand in Pizza's philosophy is to merge Western culinary techniques with local Chiayi ingredients or commonly found Taiwanese foods, applying them to pizza. Their exclusive Dongshi fresh oyster pizza uses plump and fresh oysters delivered from the source, combined with cucumber and ginger strips, topped with fresh wasabi sauce from Alishan, creating a subtly spicy finish that adds depth to the seafood pizza. The menu features a "Jiang Yanting Pizza," made with basil pesto, mushrooms, and bacon, which is named after A-Mao's teacher who taught him how to make pizza and is her favorite flavor. After enjoying a savory pizza, if you're in the mood for something sweet, consider trying a sweet pizza to complete your experience.
