E61 Coffee Place Introduction
E61 Coffee is located next to Park No. 4 in Yonghe District. The owner, Jan Chi-Hung, has been running this coffee shop for over eight years, and it is quite famous in Yonghe District. Actress Lai Ya-Yan is also a regular here and has a good relationship with the owner. After finishing filming each day, she always stops by for a cup, sometimes even three. "I love drinking coffee, and after trying the coffee here, I don't want to drink coffee anywhere else," she says. The E61 coffee shop is small, but it attracts many customers, and sometimes there is a long line. With a simple storefront, it sells exceptional coffee. Its unassuming appearance means you might miss it if you’re not paying attention while passing by. E61 Coffee does not have seating; customers either drink their coffee standing inside the shop or outside. In the evening, the streets and park fill with coffee connoisseurs savoring their drinks. Lai Ya-Yan remarks, “You can smell the coffee within a 100-meter radius.” She once shared a funny incident where, after finishing her coffee, she drove off without paying. Halfway down the road, she realized she hadn’t settled the bill and quickly called the owner to apologize. The owner sweetly replied, “It’s okay, it happens often. Just pay next time.”
