E61 Coffee Place Introduction
E61 Coffee is located next to Park No. 4 in Yonghe District. The owner, Jan Chi-Hong, has been running the shop for over eight years, making this coffee shop quite famous in Yonghe District. Actress Lai Ya-Yen is also a regular customer and shares a good relationship with the owner. After filming each day, she always stops by for a cup, sometimes having as many as three. "I love coffee, and after trying the coffee here, I no longer want to drink coffee from anywhere else." E61 Coffee has a small storefront but attracts many customers, often resulting in long wait times. The simple appearance masks the quality of the coffee sold inside; it can be easy to miss if you’re not paying attention while passing by. There are no seats inside E61 Coffee; customers either stand inside to enjoy their drinks or take them outside. In the evening, the streets and park are filled with coffee enthusiasts savoring their cups. Lai Ya-Yen notes, "You can smell the aroma of coffee from a radius of 100 meters." She shares a humorous incident when she finished her coffee, got in her car, and drove off only to realize halfway that she forgot to pay. She quickly called the owner to apologize for the oversight. The owner charmingly responded that it was okay, as many customers forget to pay, and they can settle it next time.
