When it comes to the tofu at Yong'an Market, "Ming Feng" is the name that stands out. Ming Feng is a well-known tofu brand in Taiwan, with its headquarters located on Fuxing Road in Xinzhuang. They also have a tourist factory that allows consumers, schools, and businesses to visit and take guided tours. The owner, Huang Hsiao-Cheng, entered the food industry because of his desire to enjoy the naturally fermented, preservative-free stinky tofu made by his mother. Ming Feng tofu originated at Yong'an Market, and although the headquarters and central kitchen have moved to Xinzhuang, Mr. Huang still maintains a stall at Yong'an Market to serve his longtime customers. Emphasizing health and nature, Ming Feng takes great care in selecting soybeans for its tofu production, and the variety of products has won praise from consumers. These include soy-based products like soy milk, cotton tofu, tofu bags, tofu cakes, tofu skins, oil tofu, and dried tofu, all supplied fresh. The stall also features ultra-low temperature running water to maintain the freshness and taste of the tofu products.
